‘When I Leave’ is the emotionally powerful new single from LA-based singer-songwriter Abby Sage. Her distinctive voice is the star of the show, boasting soulful, bluesy power that fits above the synth-string balladry of the tune. It’s almost cinematic in its grandeur during orchestral passages, but is able to bring the texture down to almost nothing when needed.
